Ingredients
1 can of instant biscuits
1 Pack of maple sausage
4 eggs
3 and 1/4 cups of milk
2 tbsp. of butter
1/4 cups of flour
Salt to taste
Pepper to taste
Directions:
- Tear biscuits into pieces and place into bottom of casserole dish.
- In a cast iron skillet cook sausage and once cooked place on top of biscuits but keep the drippings for your gravy.
- Add four eggs with 1/4 cup milk & salt and pepper into a bowl and whisk and then pour into the casserole dish.
- Add 2 tablespoons butter to the cast iron skillet and 1/4 cups flour
- Mix this into a rue.
- Slowly incorporate 3 cups of milk into the rue.
- Bring gravy to a boil and then season with salt and pepper and remove from heat.
- Pour gravy directly on top of casserole and cook in oven at 420 for 25 minutes.
- Cool for 20 min and enjoy!
